Badu is made consciously on Bundjalung Country. We are a team of 2 sisters, going slowly and treading lightly. M is a descendant of the Awabakal Wonnarua & Bundjalung peoples. She is an artist & has worked in the environmental field for over 30 years caring for country. The Badu range has developed from her passion for nature and plants. It is about sharing language with a deep respect to those that have come before us.
We use only organic ingredients, and packaging and bottles have been chosen with the intention of being reused. It is about the process and engaging the senses. The simple ritual of how a couple of sprays can bring a sense of calm or ground your feet.
We acknowledge there were once many different dialects of Bundjalung language spoken throughout this country and respect the continuum and remembering of all our living languages.
